One can't help wondering who's to blame
For tarnishing the family name.
From duty as from boyish scrapes
Young Bush enjoys countless escapes,
Because his father bails him out---
Could that be what it's all about?
In business deals nobody tops him;
Conflict of interest never stops him;
A son whose ethics ape his own---
(So early on the seeds were sown!)
Yet who by any norm exceeds
By far the patriarch's misdeeds;
A father who won't criticize
Has tears of pride still in his eyes.
How many breaches are allowed?
How can a father stay so proud?
